Annual Country Show

The Bucks County F.O.P Lodge #53 will be holding its Annual Country Show on April 2, 2016 at 8 p.m. at the Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania. Tickets will be sold at the door. The cost is $15.00.

Our Opening Act is The Cramer Brothers From Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

The Cramer Brothers Band has been providing great music and fun for people at country music clubs, fairs, festivals and concerts for more than a decade. The Cramer Brothers Band have appeared with various Nashville acts, including Merle Haggard, George Jones, George Strait, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Millsap, Gary Morris, Vern Gosdin, Ricky Van Shelton, Ray Stevens, Brenda Lee, Buddy Emmons, Hank Thompson, The Osmond’s, Grandpa Jones, Gene Watson, Mickey Gilley, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Janie Frickie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Faith Hill and many more.

Our Featured Act is Ronnie McDowell !!!!

Ronnie McDowell has an amazing string of hit songs that he has amassed over the years, but it is his riveting stage presence and genuine warmth that fills the seats again and again. Like all great entertainers, Ronnie McDowell has a personality that remains luminous long after the lights go dim. These qualities have inspired a nationwide network of fan-clubs with more than 3,000 members, each one a devoted promoter of everything McDowell does.

Following the death of Elvis Presley in 1977, Ronnie McDowell came out of nowhere to dazzle the world with his heartfelt and self-penned tribute song “The King Is Gone” on the independent Scorpion label. The record took off immediately, gaining airplay on country and pop stations across the country and around the world. To date, “The King Is Gone” has sold more than 5 Million copies.

Council Rock High School North Band

The Bucks County F.O.P. #53 is pleased to announce that the Council Rock High School North Band, under the direction of Wayne Bishop, will be performing with Ronnie McDowell and his band. This will be a great experience for the band members to perform with a Nashville Recording Artist.

This year and years to come, the Council Rock High School North Band Boosters will be selling refreshments during our intermission. All proceeds will go directly to the Band Boosters which helps pay for any out of pocket cost not covered by the School District. We ask that you support our students and check out the refreshments in the Cafeteria.
